Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of nine (9) members: 2 executive and 7 non-executive directors. Out of the non-executive members, three (3) are independent within the meaning of Law 4706/2020 on Corporate Governance with which the company complies.

The Board of Directors is supported by 2 of its Committees, namely the Audit Committee and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

Lampros Papakonstantinou
President (Non-Executive member)

Mr. Papakonstantinou has more than 28 years of experience as an Entrepreneur, Managing Partner in Private Equity, Bank Deputy CEO and experienced Investment Banker. He commenced working at the Investment Banking of Barclays Bank in 1992 and then moved to ABN Amro. In 1996 he co-founded P&K Securities, which he and his colleagues transformed into the largest investment house in Greece. In 1997 he founded P&K Capital, an investment banking boutique and in 1999 ETVA-Natwest AEDAK was acquired, which was later renamed to ETVA-P&K AEDAK. In 2007, NBG acquired the P&K Group and he took over as General Manager of Investment Banking at NBG. In 2011 he left to establish Virtus Partners and in 2014 he took over as Deputy CEO at Geniki Bank, where after the merger with Piraeus Bank, he took over as General Manager of Investment Banking at Piraeus Bank. In 2017 he founded Virtus International Partners LP, which managed, among other investments, the investments of Virtus South European Fund. He has participated in BoDs in Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.

He holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from INSEAD. He speaks English and French fluently.

Panagiotis Vassiliadis
CEO (Executive Member)

Mr. Vassiliadis has worked for IDEAL Holdingssince August 1993, holding positions of responsibility in various Holding companies..  In the summer of 2003, he took over the position of General Manager of ADACOM S.A. and since 2010 he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer. Under his management, ADACOM managed to become one of the largest cybersecurity companies in Greece with a very strong standing in the field of trust services and digital signature, among others, having implemented large and complex projects in Greece and abroad. In January 2020, he took over the role of Chief Operations Officer of IDEAL, while in the summer of the same year he was appointed Chief Executive Officer.

He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Athens University of Economics and Business, he has received many certifications from various cybersecurity companies and has extensive experience in strategy and project management in the broader field of IT and integration, as well as extensive expertise in Trust Services.

Savas Assimiadis
Director (Executive member)

Mr. Savvas Asimiadis was born in 1966 and holds a degree in economics. He has ten years of experience in the auditing, tax and consulting department at Arthur Andersen. His last position there was Director of the Business Process Outsourcing Department. He has been working for the Group since December 2000, when he became Financial Director of IDEAL ELECTRONICS.

Nelly (Eleni) Tzakou - Lambropoulou
Vice President (Independent, Non-executive Member)

Executive General Manager with over 30 years’ experience in the Banking sector, providing the appropriate strategy to set and achieve strategic goals and results, position the organization in the future and drive innovation. She has served in two of the leading Banks in Greece in the areas of Retail Banking/Customer Segments/Product Divisions/Distribution Channels (Branch Network and Online Channels)/Digital Business/Global Transaction Services. She has run several programs fostering innovative and export-oriented entrepreneurship in Greece and also set-up a fintech impact accelerator.

Founder and Managing Director of a specialized Consulting company, providing Consulting Services to large Greek Groups for: (i) the provision of Retail Financial Services under the licensing of an Authorized Payment Institution or an Electronic Money Institution, (ii) the provision of microlending services to individuals and small businesses, (iii) the provision of Digital Payments and Digital Financial Services in accordance with the recent European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and the new European Open Banking Framework respectively.

Co-founder and Managing Director of a software technology company, developing and operating API gateway infrastructure to support payment services under the PSD2 and Open Banking frameworks for major customers in Greece.

Nelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and an MBA from the University of Wales & Manchester Business School.

Ioannis Artinos
Director (Non-Executive Member of the Board)

With more than 30years of management experience, he has served in C-suite executive positions, with operational and oversight responsibilities in large multinational and Greek group holding companies. He started his career in 1992 in Procter&Gamble Greece and after a series of international assignments in Switzerland and the UK, in 2005 undertook the position of Director for Pampers Western Europe, a €3bn annual turnover business. In 2008 he became CEO for Procter&Gamble Greece, in 2010 CEO of Vivartia Holdings, in 2011 Deputy CEO of Marfin Investment Group and in 2016 CEO of Amvyx, the largest Spirits and Alcoholic Beverages company in Greece.

He has been elected and served in several Board of Directors, such as Procter&Gamble Greece, Marfin Investment Group, Vivartia Holdings, Hyatna Group (JV with the Royal Family of UAE), Delta Dairy Group, Barba Stathis Frozen Foods, Everest/Goody’s Group (the largest food and entertainment services group in Greece), in S.E.V.T. (Greek Association of Food Manufacturer Companies), is a board member of non-profit S.O.S. Children Villages, in Alliance for Greece and in the Advisory Board of TeDx Academy and Singularity University Greece.

George Diakaris
Director (Non-Executive Member of the Board)

Mr Diakaris began his professional career in 1990 as a Business Consultant at COOPERS & LYBRAND. A year later he undertook the position of Financial Planning Manager at TASTY FOODS, a PEPSICO subsidiary. During his tenure at TASTY FOODS, he served as Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

In 2000–2001 he worked as a Business Consultant at KANTOR and since 2001 he has been working as a Business Consultant at LCC BEVERAGES.

He is a graduate of the Leonteion Lyceum of Patissia and the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly Supreme School of Economics and Business), and holds a Master’s degree in International Business and International Financial Management from the University of Reading in England.

Marina Efraimoglou
Director (Independent, Non-Executive Member of the Board)

Euphoria Retreat, that opened in July 2018 in Greece, is the vision of founder Marina Efraimoglou, who after following a personal path of inner development, sought to create a special healing retreat.

Marina had a successful career in the financial sector, founding her business Telesis in 1993, but after a pivotal personal experience, she shifted her attention from the financial world into the worlds of holistic medicine and self-actualisation. Committed to leading a more spiritual life, she studied in depth with very well-known pioneers in the field, and travelled the world sourcing knowledge and experience. Completing her studies in Chinese Medicine, Marina has worked in transformational healing for over a decade.

Based on her varied experience, Marina successfully created her own series of workshops and retreats, recently bringing them into the corporate world, with the aim of encouraging the emergence of a new type of leadership and cooperation.

Anastasia Dritsa
Director (Independent, Non-Executive Member of the Board)

Ms. Anastasia Dritsa is a lawyer at the Supreme Court and a partner in the law firm "Kyriakidis Georgopoulos" with at least 25 years of experience in law. Corporate and commercial law, national and European law, competition and consumer law, distribution and agency law, and e-commerce and digital markets law are some of her areas of expertise. Ms. Dritsa counsels major Greek and international corporations on how to organize and arrange their commercial transactions in accordance with antitrust and competition laws.

She graduated from King's College, University of London, with a Master's degree in European Competition Law and the University of Exeter with a Master's degree in International Business Law. She has been a member of the Women in Business (WIB) Committee of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce's (AmCham) since 2016, which strives to encourage professional leadership evolving of women in Greece. She has been a member of SEV – Hellenic Federation of Enterprises’ Competition and Consumer Teams since 2019 and provides advice on new legislative measures and other institutional challenges.

Panagiotis Kanellopoulos
Director (Non-Executive Member of the Board)

Returned to Greece after an academic career in the United States, rapidly transitioned to become a business management professional with combined experience impacting corporate performance through skilful development, enhancement, and orchestration of high-level corporate strategies.  

Highly skilled leader guiding organisations through business process enhancement, leading strategic planning, and creative solution development across numerous business sectors.  

Talented relationship management expert, delivering bottom-line performance, and utilising broad knowledge of targeted risk and value management in fast-paced environments.  

Skilled in bringing new products to market and developing effective go-to-market plans. Successfully position, manage, and monitor business activities to produce continuous, high rate returns. Develop and analyse methods to capitalise on emerging or niche product trends, while identifying strategies that effectively position company to realise organic growth with minimised losses. The last 15 years he is focusing in Family Wealth Management and Family Business Corporatization. He has held numerous positions as General Manager or CEO or Bord Member, among  which are included, Astir Vitogiannis SA, Sayegh Group, and Sayegh Investments Entity, Athens Metro Transport Authority (oasa) , Otto Spinneries Group and Otto Evros SA, Nethold MultiChoice SA, ECS SA, and more. He Holds PH.D degrees in Computer Engineering and also in Economics.
